In the 94th minute, pure elation broke out for Chelsea and caretaker boss Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández bundled in a dramatic equaliser. The goal left Pep Guardiola ranting in frustration and provided the temporary Chelsea manager a career-defining moment. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane represented the Premier League's greatest managerial mismatch, making the recollection of Fernández's crucial intervention one to cherish the 40-year-old in his dotage.

A Stark Contrast in Pedigree

On the home bench was the generation's pre-eminent figure, a man with four decades of silverware for football's giants Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, overseeing his 1,012th match.
